Semi-Independent Living Services

Cultural homes, Inc. Semi-Independent Living Services (SILS) include training and assistance in independent living skills for adults with developmental disabilities, or related conditions.

At Cultural Homes, Inc. we offer semi-independent living skills to adults with developmental disabilities and other conditional related disabilities that live in their homes, in their apartments and other community settings. Our services is designed to help people to help themselves by assisting you or loved ones with the following services while keeping up the values of your family culture, community culture and the culture of your origin.

The goal of SILS is to support people in ways that will enable them to achieve personally desired outcomes and lead self-directed lives in the community.

Semi-Independent Living Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Grocery shopping assistance
  • Household organization, paperwork sorting, etc.
  • Housekeeping
  • Laundry service – personal laundry
  • Meal preparation
  • Money management
  • Personal shopping assistance
  • Scheduled check on personal safety
